TSPOTA Contest Dates
Third weekend of April
(Second weekend when Easter falls on the third weekend)
The TSPOTA Story
What began as a passion project by Houston's Tom King (WK5DX) has grown into a cherished tradition in the Texas amateur radio community. The Lake Area Amateur Radio Klub (K5LRK) proudly participated in 2015 and 2016, experiencing firsthand the joy this event brings to operators across the state.
When Tom became a silent key in 2015, K5LRK stepped forward to ensure his vision lived on. We're honored to carry forward this legacy, bringing together amateur radio enthusiasts in celebration of our state's natural beauty.
